Statistics and Data Science Pedagogy

\r\n Most of what I write and present about is related to\r\n statistics and data science education. My current projects include\r\n writing an open-source undergraduate Bayesian book with\r\n Alicia Johnson and\r\n Miles Ott and papers on data science content\r\n in statistics curriculum.\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Applied Statistics

\r\n\r\n Through my consulting work in graduate school and later on, I got to\r\n collaborate with researchers on interdisciplinary projects. My consulting\r\n clients have been from a variety of diciplines including speech and\r\n hearing sciences, food safety, early childhood education, and consumer sciences.\r\n\r\n

Missing Data

\r\n\r\n Most of my research during my PhD focused on investigating and\r\n comparing different missing data treatments under different\r\n modeling conditions. I studied estimation bias, error of estimations,\r\n and model convergence while controlling for different levels of complex\r\n model elements using Monte Carlo simulations.\r\n
