\r\nI am the convener for the\r\nIsolated Statisticians\r\nInterest Group in the American Statistical Association and through this position\r\nI get to serve on ASA's\r\n\r\n Education Council. The interest group\r\nmainly has members who teach in liberal arts colleges or in departments where\r\nthey are the only (or one of the few) statistician(s). Even though I no longer teach at such a setting,\r\nI will be holding this position until \r\n JSM 2020. \r\n\r\nI am the incoming co-chair for Undergraduate Statistics Project Competition\r\n and Electronic Undergraduate Statistics Research Conference\r\n (USPROC/eUSR) We mainly organize two major events,\r\none is a biannual nation-wide competition for papers undergraduate students write as part of their classes or\r\nindependent studies and the second is an electronic conference where students present their papers. If you are\r\nan undergraduate student or mentor of an undergraduate student, I would recommend you to be\r\non the lookout for our next deadline.
\r\n\r\nEven though I am no longer active at the organization level\r\nmy most meaningful service has been with R Ladies.
